Pay as you go is now available on Biterra
A small community can have a very busy weekend. You might run a bigger CTF once a year, welcome a new cohort, or need more time in a workspace for a workshop.
We've added pay-as-you-go billing to Biterra so you can keep your usual plan and add extra capacity when you need it, including on our free Community plan.
PAYG covers three things:
- Launch minutes for hosted challenges: £0.01 per minute.
- Workspace minutes for browser-based desktops: £0.02 per minute.
- Additional participants: £2.50 per participant.
For launch and workspace minutes, your included allowances and prepaid credits are used first. PAYG covers the extra usage after those run out.
Participant PAYG lets Community organisations admit more people beyond their world's included and boosted capacity. Professional and Education already include unlimited participants.
You choose when to use it
PAYG is optional. You enable it for the capacity you need and choose a monthly spending cap for each type. Extra usage is billed monthly through Stripe.
You can still buy prepaid boosts and minute packs if that suits your event better. PAYG gives you another option when you want room to grow as people arrive.
Turn it on in your organisation
Open your organisation's Usage tab, turn on PAYG on the relevant card, choose your cap and complete the billing setup.
